Thomy, my thoughts and love to you. Maria was a force of nature, a funny, talented, smart and loving lady, my years working with her at Basel Ballet will always be remembered. She will be truly missed. My very deepest condolences to you and all of your families, I am so very sorry for your loss, xo

Condolences
Maria was a woman of incredible life force-I am so sad to hear of her passing. I had the pleasure to work with her at Basel Ballet. She was a vibrant presence in the studio - she had a clear, no-nonsense approach to her work, always a quick sense of humour and was unfailingly kind and empathetic to the challenges the dancers faced on a daily basis. Her incredible management of rehearsals and the way she could fire out corrections in at least 5 different languages without pausing for breath was astonishing! I remember her fondly. My sincerest condolences to Thomy and all those who loved her.
