My deepest sympathy to my dearest friend of more than 40 years, Suzanne. Your mother welcomed me as your fellow student and always showed interest, generosity and a tremendous capacity to listen without judgement. She was strong, stoic, and supportive without ever being intrusive. In a family of such strong personalities, she remained the voice of reason, calm and courage. She was an amazing matriarch and I had hoped to see her once more. I am sad not to but also glad that she is now in a place of peace. My thoughts are with the family.
